Join Music Lessons Angus - School of Music for it’s first Brass Summer Course in the Monifieth Theatre. The course is for young brass players that are grade 4 – Grade 8 +.

The course will focus on developing ensemble skills and musicianship, working on and performing new repertoire and further developing general technique of brass playing in a fun and supportive environment.

Everyone will also have the opportunity to develop solo playing skills and performance techniques. Everyone is encouraged to bring a solo piece that they are working on, preferably with piano accompaniment to work on during the course. Throughout the duration of the course, students will take part in solo masterclasses and performance classes where they will have the opportunity to perform to each other as well as develop their own listening skills.

At the end of the course, there will be a short concert, showcasing the work of the ensemble during the course and provide a performance opportunity.

The Course will be led by highly trained teachers that have a vast amount of experience in performing and teaching brass instruments. For more information about the course leaders click here.

Course will take place in the MAD Theatre in Monifieth, and will cost £60 for the three days, which must be paid in advance on receipt of invoice.
